Pregnancy During Third Trimester
This is the last trimester from the 28th week till the birth of the baby. During the last trimester, women may notice a return of fatigue, headaches, faintness, and an influx of general aches and pains. During the third trimester baby is growing and gaining weight, so there is less space in your uterus and the amniotic fluid will start diminishing, you will start to experience heavier movements from your baby; you may also be able to make out shapes along your stomach as the baby moves around.
On the seventh month of your third trimester, you might not feel the movement and kicks as much as you felt during the second trimester. During this time the baby will respond actively to the sound and touch. You can feel your baby’s arms and legs if you watch your abdomen. During eight months the fetus is too big to move around. At this stage, the baby is starting to grow vital organs as well. The average size of the baby at the start of the third trimester is around 14 inches; this is the time that your baby’s lungs are being developed making sure that he or she is strong enough to breathe on their own when they are born. On the ninth months of your Third Trimester a baby to be ready to be born. Usually baby will be in head down position and rests in the mother’s lower abdomen. Many Women may notice that vaginal discharge becomes heavier in the ninth month. Braxton Hicks contractions may become more intense, as well as the need to urinate. Women may also find that their breasts may leak. For some women, the third trimester is their favorite experience of the whole pregnancy.
